glottalized velar nasal
This is an allophone of the glottalized alveolar nasal, /n'/, but it's occurence is only predictable with a fair amount of grammatical and phonological knowledge of Cahto, so it is probably best for the learner to use a separate spelling. Basically /n'/ becomes [ng'] word-finally, preceding velars (including /w/), and preceding glottal stop. It remains [n'] in apparently word-final position when the word underlying ends in the -i relative/definite suffix.
